Woohoo. I had managed to complete the cross conuntry race yesterday! Gee=) Well, i was absolutely nervous before the start. I was placed under the compeitive runners whereby everyone can run fast and have stamina. So, I thought i was definitely going to be the last. In fact, i was one of those ppls in the last pack at the beginning of the race. But fortunately, i somehow managed to keep up with my pace, stopping only when i reached this steep slope. Anyhow, i ran like hell in the last few metre and became the 32 girl(out of 80) to reach the finishing line. Yea, i even did an embarrasing and silly action when i sprint near the ending point. As you see, I thought the finishing line was located at the area where crowds of people were cheering(including my class) So i stopped! But it was not; the finishing point was further down the road! So can you imagine almost everyone is laughing at my silly mistake? Worst still, all my friends commented that i got this "blur" expression at that instant. Darn.... Anyway, no matter what. I still got a trophy home since i'm one of the top 8 runners of my house.Gee=) Guess cross country aint that bad afterall.lol
